Typesettingsg is a traditional letterpress heritage studio focusing mainly on handset moveable types for printing. The studio conduct various type of letterpress workshop, preserve and document Singapore printing heritage and showcase them thru exhibitions and print products.
Typesettingsg 是一間傳統活版印刷工作室，主要以活字；鉛字和木活字做印刷。工作室以開班排版工作坊，活版印刷講座和設計為主, 致力於保存和紀錄新加坡印刷文化再以印刷展覽和印製品呈現。
Letterpress typesetting workshop
The 3hr+ long letterpress workshop provides the student an understanding to the art of letterpress and the history of letterpress printing in Singapore. Student gets to typeset their design and print with our table-top printing press.
A Singapore Bicentennial Special: Letterpress Printing in Singapore
Partnered with NUS YALE Library on a special exhibition in celebration of the Singapore Bicentennial 2019 - “A History in Objects: Letterpress Printing in Singapore” showcases unique and rare artefacts from Singapore’s early printing history from 1950s to 1970s. (Typesettingsg collection)
International Association of Printing Museums (IAPM)
The very first General Meeting of the International Association of Printing Museums (IAPM) was held on 1 October 2018 in the City of Cheongju, Republic of Korea. TYPESETTINGSG is a founding member of IAPM.
